Today I visited A Child After 40, which is a free and private online community -the first initiative to empower women on the journey of motherhood after 40, from fertility, birth or adoption to a midlife renaissance of parenting and self discovery. This week’s expert Claudia Spahr, Former BBC journalist and Author of Right Time Baby–The Complete Guide to Later Motherhood made reference to Dr. Ellen Langer’ study.
By the way, Spahr’s book, Right Time Baby–The Complete Guide to Later Motherhood is a personal narrative, with revealing quotes, practical tips and useful information for later life mothers on the topics of fertility, conception, pregnancy, childbirth and the baby’s first year.
Now about Dr. Langer’s study, the Harvard University professor proved in her studies that people who feel old actually look older than their years. Those who feel younger, look much younger than their age. What do you think? Do you think if we “feel” old, we look old?
